Who is not touched by beauty? The urge to touch it back, to capture it, to own it somehow is overwhelming. Artists - so the beauty myth goes - are supposed to be more susceptible to its charms than most. Keats thought that Beauty was inseparable from Truth. But in a media-saturated age we are more wary of surface beauty and perfect symmetry.
