Watercolour is often overlooked as a serious art form and is often categorised as hobby art due to its congenial characteristics. However, anyone that has ever tried to use it, will have found that it’s actually not as easy as it looks. It requires great draftsmanship and an abundance of courage. Our featuring artists certainly have plenty of both, pushing the boundaries of traditional watercolour imagery to the maximum. Our favourite is ‘little girl lost’ by Karen Stamper. Which is yours?
