In the 17th century Still life painting was often considered as the lowest form of art. Thanks to the influence of great masters such as Cézanne, still life painting became the chosen demonstrative ground of art movements from Fauvism to Cubism and beyond. This exhibition brings together a selection of still life painting with a 21st century slant. Blowing away our pre-conceptions and reviving the genre once more.
