Rocky outcrops, fault lines and geological strata. Pebbles, cliffs, prehistoric mounds and totemic piles...It is clear that the inorganic offers just as much inspiration to our artists as other life forms on our planet. Rocks and stones with their metaphorical connotations of patience, dependability and eternity are a visual reminder of qualities we may sometimes need and strive for in our own lives.
