Fantasy

Close your eyes my baby,
And have a special dream,
I’ll paint a picture,
A really pleasant scene.
I’m your Mr Darcy,
And you’re my Bridget Jones,
From a lake I appear,
Soaked to my bones.
I cast you a smile,
And you stand and Stare,
A shiver down your spine,
It’s not the winter air!
As you sip your Chardonnay,
Drinking to a life alone,
You offer this wet stranger,
The warmth of your home.
I stand by your fire,
Hanging my clothes to dry,
I see you peeping,
From the corner of your eye.
I cast you another smile,
But still you stand and stare,
So I cup your pretty face,
Run fingers through your hair.
I pull you near,
Pressing your lips to mine,
Softly at first,
Then our tongues entwine.
During this passion,
I let your clothes go,
Revealing your womanly curves,
Before the fires glow.
Gently to the floor,
I push your naked skin,
Kissing your neck,
As I slip myself in.
To and thro we rock,
In perfect harmony,
Two minds engaged,
Two bodies free.
Then a feeling stirs,
Somewhere deep inside,
And your moisture turns,
The rock into a glide.
Sliding on the floor,
Biting your bottom lip,
The feeling gets intense,
From your stomach to your hip.
You begin to moan,
Body glowing by the coal,
Then a burst of energy,
As you loose control.
Your contracting muscles,
To much for me to take,
I look into your eyes,
My knees begin to shake.
Then for a moment,
Our minds go clear,
The intensity over,
We hold each other near.
Daddy must you go

Daddy must you go
and sail upon the sea?
Me and mummy need you here,
It's with us your supposed to be.
I know you like the seagulls
and the waves crashing in a storm
But we'd rather have you home,
On the sofa where it's warm.
I know you've got a job to do,
and we're both so very proud,
"My dad's a sailor",
I tell the kids real loud!
Please daddy don't go,
Ok make this your last trip,
Then stay at home and decorate
and take things to the tip,
I hardly ever see you
and I know I'm a grown up four
But I need you here,
Please don't go no more!

Son one day you'll understand
the reason why I go,
Your to young yet,
But you'll realise as you grow.
That men must make decisions
and choose a way in life,
To provide for their children
and support a loving wife.
The path I choose isn't easy
and I knew it wouldn't be,
For nobody gets an easy ride,
when they work at sea.
Men like me my son
We've got salt in our veins,
So much salt in fact,
It's polluted our brains!
That's why we go to sea,
A love, a passion,
And a wanting to be free.

Ok daddy, I think you do what's right,
But I've told mummy
No salt on your chips tonight!
Why a ship is called she

Have you ever wandered
Why a ship is called she?
Or is it just something,
That you have let be?

I think it's a comparison
To another woman in a sailor's life,
I'm not talking about his mother,
I'm talking about his wife.

For every sailor needs a compass,
To keep him on course,
And if he ever deviates
He's bound for divorce!

He also needs a vessel,
For shelter through a storm,
Someone through every eventuality,
Who's heart is always warm.

He need something buoyant,
To keep him afloat,
And nothing does it better
Than a lovers note.

That's why I think
A ship is called she!
What’s your opinion?
Do you agree?
