I have fallen in Love
I have fallen in love for the first time,
It has been a fantastic experience, so I have written this rhyme.
The man i love is caring and kind,
I feel sure that he is and that I am not just being blind.
He treats me so well, which makes me feel good,
Just like my Mum said that my true prince would.
But when I first met him we didn't get on,
In fact I would go as far as saying I thought he was a moron.
However, I soon realised that he had been misrepresented,
And so when he asked me out on a date I relented.
By the end of our first date I was floating on air,
I couldn't believe that we made such a good pair.
We had arranged to meet on a Sunday night,
Which turned out to reach a 1000 degrees fahrenheit,
And I think that we would both agree,
That we had just experienced a fait accompli.
That is to say our firt date went well,
And in fact, from then on he has made my heart swell.
We celebrated our first month's anniversary in style,
And drank Champagne for more than a while.
By this time my heart was bursting,
and I felt that there should be no compromising,
So I decided I should let him know,
But I was worried in case he wanted to get up and go.
I plucked up my courage and looked into his eyes,
And told him in a steady voice so he would know I was telling no lies.
I wasn't sure what his reaction would be,
So I held my beath and hoped that he would say the same to me.
I didnt't have to wait long for a response,
and then I said pardon so that he would have to say it more than once.
Since then I have been floating on cloud nine,
And in fact I think our relationshoip is maturing like a fine wine.
I hope we will be together much longer,
And dare I say it, even forever and ever.
But, when all is said and done,
I hope our relationship has only just begun,
Because I love him more each day,
And I feel sure it will always be this way.
