For years Glen Toner worked physically as a plasterer's mate. In 2002, he decided to change his career, and went to Suffolk College to study Fine Art. He graduated in 2005 with a first class degree. You are one of the first who have got a chance to view his work.
Glen is interested in painting people, especially the ones that seem unattractive and uninteresting. He uses dark paints thickly in order to give the paintings strength and physicality. His work is intense and carries lots of meaning that can be read from the titles but isn't there more to read from the faces?
