Eric has been trained as a teacher with his main subject being art. His inspirations came from the works of the Pre-Raphaelites and Salvador Dali's surrealism, but he created the most powerful opinions about art when he saw a Spanish Super - Realist exhibition about 30 years ago. Since then he has been driven by an urge to capture detail in painting and aimed to achieve three-dimensional imagery, with a hint of impressionism.
