Biljana Popovich was born in 1955 in Zemun, Serbia and now currenly lives and works in Belgrade. After completing a BA and subsequently an MA from the University of Belgrade, Academy of Fine Arts in 1985, Biljana has spent the last twenty years exhibiting and lecturing across Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Bosnia. Popovich seeks to represent the meeting of Heaven and Earth. In her series of pictures, The Little Sea Angels Biljana calls for, “defence of the divine principles of goodness, beauty and truth.” Her work is held in both private and public collections.
