Inspired by hot rod art, tattoo culture and retro tiki surf themes, Hague’s paintings echo some of the familiar emblems, patterns and motifs associated with them. Finding equal inspiration from Britain’s coastline, Hague recently moved to north Devon, ” I needed to be closer to the sea, surf and nature's endless inspiration” he says. Born in Birmingham, Hague studied Fine Art and graduated with a BA Hons from Gloucestershire University.
