My paintings are based on specific places and interiors in the area of South London where I live.
They partly refer to the visual appearance of these places and partly to their imaginative or dream like appearance. The final image is an attempt at a balance between the internal and external reality of things.
Within this balance I try to suggest some kind of relationship or narrative between people, places and things.
