I am inspired by the everyday - by household objects and people's bits and pieces. Colour is very important to me, my work is always vibrant and bold. I am quite prolific and find that I paint out of personal need as well as painting for pleasure. Depicting the objects that clutter people's lives is often more psychologically penetrating than painting the people themselves.
