Greg Gregson Skwentna born in Latvia in 1960 he began attending Drawing Academy since he was 12. From 1980-1986 studied in Moscow Art Institute> Greg took part in numerous Underground and Avant-garde exhibitions in Russia and Baltic States. Than Artist moved to United States from 1990-1996 worked and exhibited in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Since 2002 he lives and works in New York.
Greg was influenced by Russian Symbolism and Supermatism predominately by the works of Malevich, Tatlin and Sterenberg. Later he merged Expressionistic techniques with Surreal dreamlike images which evolving sometimes to complete distortion.
