Martin Leigh
Martin Leigh Born 1967, Wigan, North West of England I studied both art and photography and pursued a career as a commercial photographer working in and around the U.K. and overseas. With some of my work I have always had a deep fascination with the open shoreline, its natural and manmade architecture, the seasonal changes of its inhabitants along with the unpredictability of its ever changing moods. Also its mere nature of is continually evocative and creator of many imagined places to explore. With both mediums, I endeavour to observe and create with freedom. Technical restrictions become secondary as I feel an image needs no calculation only an innermost thought; many of the images I observe and record need no more detail as to what the subjects actually are.
