JAIME CASTRO SANTORO
Jaime Castro Santoro, Chilean painter, studied at the Arts faculty at the University of Chile between 1970 and 1973.
He has had many solo exhibitions and participated in various group shows in his country of origin, Chile and the USA. A fruitful period in San Francisco, California allowing him to consolidate his style and allow him to exhibit his paintings and be represented by Yountchie Reiger, Fine Arts Gallery, San Francisco for three years.
Worked for years painting realistic urban landscapes , also using an internal thematic, images product of his own mind, full of poetry and dreamer motiffs.
In both thematics, Castro Santoro uses the minor resources for doing somethings simple and pure, using watercolours , oil, acrylics and drawings. .
Castro Santoro is currently exploring specific details of London landscapes and is presently a member of the Bayswater Artist Association exhibiting his paintings every Sunday at Bayswater Road, London.
