These latest series of works are inspired by self doubt, self stagnation and ironically a lack of inspiration and ideas. Many of the works are small self portraits done with ink and acrylic on paper to maintain a spontaneous aspect about them. Inspiration is also drawn from the studio they were done in. The studio is not just a place to work on paintings but also a place to reflect, to study the how and why of oneself. | |||||
