He was born in Szatmárnémeti (Rumania-Transsylvania) in 1962.
He was taught to draw by his self-educated father. At 7 he was a member of a painting study circle. In 1973 he was admitted to the secondary school for music and fine arts in Szatmár where he studied graphic, painting and sculpture. His professors were: Hajnalka Parádi and Ioan Sasu. During his military service; thanks to his talent; he got an order by the army for a big-size painting and then he had many occasions to paint further on. In 1994 he came to Hungary.
The artist's favorite style is the expressive naturalism, abstract.
Most important exhibitions: Szatmár, Örkény, Dabas, Sopron, Szentendre,Budapest, Munich, Interlaken. His works can be found in private collections in Hungary, the USA, W-Europe and Canada.
His painting; Women washing in the creek-side; had been brought by Laura Bush in 2002 during her visit in Szentendre.
