Bill Millett Glasgow based photographer and filmmaker.
My aim is to take the camera out of its normal context and utilise it as a canvas. To look at photography as a way of painting an image as opposed to replicating it.
This methodology is illustrated in the series of presenting light paintings.
The images are first sketched then constructed with out the use of computer manipulation. They are, an assemblage of light and colour a “Tableaux Vivant”. This living picture allows the viewer to explore their own creativity constructing the image out of the presenting light and colour that in habits the space like some distant nebula.
