Jethro Mackenzie began painting abstractions during his National Diploma course at Reading College in 2007. Within the course he studied artists like Gerhard Richter, Helen Frankenhaler, Jackson Pollock, and many more who became very influential towards the progression of his work. After selling a few paintings at his first exhibition in Reading he went on to selling more ever since, and has been creating various paintings to add to his collection. Being a young artist aged 25, Jethro Mackenzie is determined to perfect his style and create abstractions that reflect his studies, expressions, emotions, and interests.
