By day I run the rat race in Financial Services in central London and by night and weekends that is when I become my true self and am able to show my true creativity in my art work.
I have always been creative from being a young girl. I used to paint with my grandad who was also an artist, we would spend hours together in the living room enjoying our creativity and each others company.
At school I studied GCSE art and began A-Level art, but at some point I lost my confidence and decided not to continue. I didn't paint for quite a few years, in fact not until my Grandad passed away, where I decided to paint again in his memory.
Again, although people told me I was good, I lost my confidence again and didn't continue.
It is only within the last year that I have really realised my true potential. I was going through some personal issues which made me really look inside myself and see the true me, and the true me loves art. I now cannot wait to get home from work to paint, I day dream about painting, I am inspired by night dreams. I really want people to enjoy my art work as much as I do creating it.
It is through my art that I get my true confidence and I can shout louder than I have ever been able to before!
