Kathy Gales' works of art are produced using whatever medium and style is best for the subject in hand. She is a self taught artist who uses drawing, painting and collage to depict texture, pattern and colour. Her varied ideas and themes often lead her to experiment with new ways of creating the right look and feel for her work. This fascination with materials has also led her to produce mosaics, jewellery and sculpture. Recently she has begun working with scraper board and has been able to produce pictures that concentrate on pattern and fine detail.
Her work has been shown for a number of years in Essex, Hertfordshire and London.
