Starting his professional career as a Graphic Artist in London's West End during the 1970's, Ken Aston paints in a realist - modernist style. His images leave the viewer with a feeling of disquiet belied by what may initially appear to be a calm serene content.
Ken paints scenes from contemporary life. His images always allegorical, reveal an inner tension played out by a content that is never quite what it seems. Ken has works hung in both Europe and The Americas. He is currently exploring elements of the Russian urban landscape as inspiration for his art.
