I have practised Encaustic Art for 12 years and have created my own techniques, styles and approach to the medium.
I believe it to be one of the most beautiful art mediums, due to its incredible luminosity and vibrancy of colour, the sculptural aspect to it, and the varied textures that can be achieved. It particularly suits my own taste in art - that being art is inspired by life - therefore has an organic feel to it.
My academic background is in Psychology and my other strong passion is my music and both of these are reflected in my art.
