Audrey Walas
Audrey has dedicated much of her academic and professional career in Contemporary Art studying the technical aspect of ‘‘blurring’’, and its delicate ability to epitomise femininity as perceived by the viewer. More recently, her works has evolved towards the development of chiaroscuro, applying this technique to transform the subject using shadow and pure light. Audrey explores these techniques to question the whole meaning of the female figure, how simple gestures on canvas can be subtly altered, enabling the subject to express the essence of femininity. Recently, she is questionning the landscapes and skies subject. Audrey graduated in 2005 from the University of Toulouse France, with a First Class Masters degree in Contemporary Art . Today, she lives and works in London, UK. | |||||
