| As an architect and a drawing teacher at the Architecture Faculty at
Krakow Polytechnic, Christopher mastered sketch drawing. His passion for
architectural form combined with his favourite technique, watercolour,
results in the impressionistic images of cities. Christopher paints places
that have caught his attention or charmed him in some way. It might be a café in
beautiful Krakow or an old building in a London street. The choice stays a
mystery for a recipient unless you can associate with it somehow. An
emotion, a memory, a ray of sunshine, or perhaps a moment of received news may trigger Christopher to paint a specific location. He is interested in the relation between light and colour and their ability to create a specific atmosphere. The fluidity of watercolour seems to be the perfect medium for Christopher to capture these moments.
