| Claudio Monnini is a painter, architect and set designer. Born in Milan in 1965 where he presently lives and works, his paintings are both provocative and sexually challenging. His focus on the human body is almost exclusively female an element which he feels allows him to explore, “verism, body language, intense expression, and anatomic tension”. “The body is the raw and sympathetic set” he says, adding”, the mind is stirred, sending messages that the face tries to evade. Claudio Monnini has works in private collections across Milan.
