| A talent for drawing was evident from early childhood, but like many children of his era, The Second World War changed the natural progression of his life. After a number of distinguished years of National Service in the Royal Navy as an Engineering Officer, Wolf began a civilian career as an International Executive. After resigning from the position to follow his heart, Wolf has been a professional painter for over twenty years. An eclectic and energetic approach has resulted in a large collection of drawings and paintings. The human figure has been a dominant aspect, with increasing emphasis on movement and dancing. In the last decade the landscape, particularly Provence, has been a huge inspiration to him. Howard Wolf has exhibited across London and has numerous works in private collection held in the UK.
