| Richard Evans is an artist who specialises in using acrylic on canvas. Having begun to develop his own version of the 19th century painting technique of breaking down form into small daubs of painterly colour and mark, and applying them to the canvas, his work clearly has an impressionistic quality to it. This technique is event in his most recent landscape painting, Denver Bridge. The technique has inspired Evans to re examine his previous passion for painting portraits of famous music icons – with a launch of his new portrait collection late this summer. Richard Evans has exhibited in the UK and the USA and currently has some work in private collections. |
