Tracey Scott has developed an original process by which she creates these haunting figurative works. Combining digitally manipulated photographs, which are transferred on to delicate tissue, she uses a variety of artist and domestic materials, including watercolour and acrylic paint, bleach and glue, to produce an ethereal and textural quality which is uniquely her own. Hoping to generate an emotion response from the viewer, Tracey's inspiration is deeply rooted in her own experiences of being a woman and a mother. Tracey Scott's work has been exhibited across Britain in both Group and solo exhibitions.
