| Scandinavian-born painter Karin Hay White is heavily influenced by ethnic folk art and architecture. Her recent paintings resemble vibrant tapestries and richly woven fabrics and use earthy reds and burnished yellows. She has an excellent feel for abstract composition and colour. She has a lot of work in private collections in Scandinavia and Europe and several works in the Royal Collection in Norway. Karin currently lives and works in the south of England, after completing seven years at British art schools.
