Geraldine Walsh  cv
Geraldine Walsh takes inspiration from a range of subject matter, "I have work that reflects botanical & figurative references - mostly semi - abstract. I apply varying forms of painting, drawing and digital media." she says. Predominantly figurative, her work uses colour and line to generate a strong sentiment or emotion. By abstracting the essential elements, a technique which we can clearly understand in the works Green Girl and Continuity, Walsh aims to expose human nature through form, ".the body holds and contains memory a physical memory, whether being still or moving." Born in London, Geraldine Walsh studied at London's famous Byam Shaw School of Art . She has works in private collections throughout the UK and abroad.
