| With over thirty year's experience, Allan Williams' is a painter of unquestionable talent. Possessing exceptional ability in several different fields of painting, he uses traditional painting techniques and materials, including oil, acrylic and watercolour in combination with a modern approach to working, using methods such as photomontage and computer generated imagery. A finalist in the 2006 and the 2005, Singer Friedlander, Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, Allan's landscape paintings have found great inspiration from the ancient buildings of the Peloponnese, which he has visited several times. He often undertakes portrait commissions and welcomes requests for a portrait in the style of your favourite artist, from Albrecht Durer to Roy Lichtenstein. Allan Williams has a BA from Wolverhampton Polytechnic and holds a MA in Painting from Concordia University, Montreal. His work is exhibited widely in the UK and Canada. |
