Dominic Pote

Dominic Pote’s beautiful photographic landscapes capture the horizon line and contain it within an elongated compositional proportion. They really are impressive works that transport you to a calmer place and would hold there own in any and most environments.

Jiri Ptacek

Jiri Ptacek uses sea and sky as a metaphor for man’s metaphysical search for peace despite earthly troubles and darker forces. His paintings at Londonart are divided between crisp, clean edged acrylics and more ethereal mixed media ethereal compositions. Originating from Czech Republic, a landlocked European country, he has always been drawn to far flung, tropical beaches. Working from memory of his visits and from imagination, he successfully captures the sultry, brooding atmosphere of Caribbean skies. His seas feature Hockneyesque waves and there are hints of human presence set against menacing rocky outcrops and fragile but resilient palms.
