Joerg Lothmann

Joerg’s simplistic yet affective paintings would brighten up any room. We think they would be best seen hanging on a wall of contrasting primary colour, although admittedly they would look equally as effective on a more neutral background.

Rachel Lumsden

The desire to visually investigate and examine a concept or subject matter is the driving force behind all of Rachel Lumsden's work. This resolute desire to explore a range of concepts to some extent governs the nature of her work, yet its character and aesthetic is driven by an intrinsic intuition and a dedication and passion for paint - which will always underpin and unite all of Lumsden's work, from one series to the next. Ian McCaughrean

Ian McCaughrean's seductive paintings depict a world of abundant colour, consumer goods and social freedom. The pictorial component as depicted by the central figurative picture, juxtaposed and surrounded by pure geometric abstract structure, highlights and explores the very nature of the aesthetic, ideal and associated theory. With these paintings the artist continues to explore the tension between pure abstraction and pictorial representation. Ian McCaughrean was born in Plymouth, England, in 1963 and now lives and works in South London. After studying a degree in Graphic Design at Maidstone College of Art he then went on to study an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art. Ian McCaughrean RCA has been painting for over twenty five years and has taken part in many group and solo exhibitions. McCaughrean has works in private and public collections across the UK and abroad.

Janet C. Moses

Janet Moses is a Malaysian Artist who now lives and works in London. Although Janet works on conventional stretched canvas, she is constantly experimenting with a variety of mediums to create her desired surface texture and form. In this latest series of works her works are invitations to find quiet among noise and bustle, peaceful places on the canvas where the eye and the mind can rest. The layers reflect the dense jungle undergrowth of Malaysia where I was raised; the colours are sunlight and the shadows are the dank and the dark under the forest canopy. Layers take on new forms, writhing and shifting until finding their place on the canvas. When you seek life and colour and movement, you can find it. Seek peace and it is there but you must search for it. She participated in a group show in Espacio Gallery, Shoreditch recently and her latest work is also in exhibition around Cambridge & Southampton.

Moulin’s abstract paintings utilise colour and form to produce vivacious, energetic acrylic paintings. Focusing on the viewers perception moulin walks a thin line between purely abstract shapes and abstract shapes that resemble the familiar.

Tate Sisters

Emeline and Claudia Tate are sisters and artists. As siblings, they exert a constant influence on each other whilst developing their art. They give one another a steady stream of both inspiration and constructive criticism. They use bold colours, images and text to express ideas - which are inspired by things seen and personal experiences. Materials such as canvas, denim, plastic and wood, provide a starting point. Paint is then applied in blocks, or stencilled.
