Steven Lynch

Steven Lynch is a UK artist who mainly works in oil on canvas. His work is predominantly figurative although he also produces wonderfully expressive seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes. Steven Lynch has his work in private collections throughout the UK. Whether he is creating provocative, affordable street art, or working on his series of beach dwelling characters, he creates skillful and attractive work that is reasonably priced. In other work he paints the everyday, some might say mundane, objects of the modern world in a nostalgic way. One of our best selling artists, we look forward to representing Lynch for a long time to come.

Katherine  Lubar

Lubar's glowing effervescent paintings create optical illusions of light and shadow. Often taking us through three or four stages and divisions of reality, she exhibits her work across London and America where her work is held in private collections. "My work takes as its subject light and shadow. The shape of a light pattern and the "negative" space surrounding it combine and interact with each other to form a geometrically interesting composition. Unnatural colours are used to create the feeling of light hitting the eye and sometimes dark and light tones are used together to give the feeling that the painting itself "glows" with its own light." Peter Lancaster

Peter Lancaster's work can't be defined by a particular genre or style but instead is characterized by his use of cool blues, fiery reds and dry humour. Peter Lancaster's most recent series of works take there inspiration from the English language. Visually exploring cockney rhyming slang and or turns of phrase, Peter finds humour in the combination and association of words and their interpretations. Currently working on a series of paintings inspired by some of the great masters he aims not to copy but interpret Ö"In these paintings I am trying to view the world as if I was standing at the same spot as the artist but painting a world that has either been untouched by humans or that has been corrupted." Peter Lancaster has been painting professionally for over seven years and has exhibited his work in the UK.

James  Lavott

The host of stylistic approaches in James Lavott's work cannot disguise the fact that here is an artist who is searching to depict his own original take on the world. He has studied the western artistic masters and seeks to build on their various visual languages: from Surrealist still lives, to Expressionist pole dancers, to Cubist mosaic portraits. He also works with contemporary subject matter such as sporting heroes and celebrated musicians as well as portriats of friends and family. One can also detect paintings that clearly bear the hallmarks of a more whimsical starting point: the doodle! This is a way of bringing forth unexpected visual results.

Pol Ledent

Pol Ledent is an accomplished abstract painter whose abstract work brings to mind the expressive, gestural style of the postwar European Tachism movement. But he is a versatile artist and equally able to embrace figurative work. Both styles have a similar aesthetic runnng through them: colourful and often tonal, but in the figurative work he subtly picks out and emphasises compositional aspects and embellishes them.
