Steven Lynch

Steven Lynch is a UK artist who mainly works in oil on canvas. His work is predominantly figurative although he also produces wonderfully expressive seascapes, landscapes and cityscapes. Steven Lynch has his work in private collections throughout the UK. Whether he is creating provocative, affordable street art, or working on his series of beach dwelling characters, he creates skillful and attractive work that is reasonably priced. In other work he paints the everyday, some might say mundane, objects of the modern world in a nostalgic way. One of our best selling artists, we look forward to representing Lynch for a long time to come.

Katherine  Lubar

Lubar's glowing effervescent paintings create optical illusions of light and shadow. Often taking us through three or four stages and divisions of reality, she exhibits her work across London and America where her work is held in private collections. "My work takes as its subject light and shadow. The shape of a light pattern and the "negative" space surrounding it combine and interact with each other to form a geometrically interesting composition. Unnatural colours are used to create the feeling of light hitting the eye and sometimes dark and light tones are used together to give the feeling that the painting itself "glows" with its own light." Sandy Lloyd

These paintings operate on a large scale in acrylic paint and mixed media on canvas, Working mainly across the spectrum of complementary opposites of blue and orange, they are evocative of sun and rain, warmth and water. The language is one of sensuous dripping and generous gestural washes revealing large open air spaces. Sandy Lloyd's other key stylistic feature is the play between transparency and opacity. All in all, this is an artist with a keen visual intelligence whose titles allow us to infer a recognisable spatial or narrative configuration.
