Arisa Tabaku

With a free and easy style, Arisa Tabaku's enjoyment of painting really comes across. The lyricism of her figurative works, especially "Girl Bathing" is further emphasised in abstracts such as "The Universe". Only an artist immersed in the creative process could so confidently produce such a clear work of sheer pleasure! In works such as these, one is reminded of the child-like wonder of artist Paul Klee. Her London-based paintings also benefit from that same energy. With their lilting brushwork, they describe the sights of this great capital with the artist's, colourful and quirky approach.

Nicole Teuliere

One of the most difficult questions facing any contemporary artist is how to combine the historical past of art with the desire to capture the modern. How does someone create a work which is timeless and contemporary? Ageless and youthful? ‘Outstanding for its skill, the work of Nicole Teulière-Ratti definitely recalls the work of “Tiffany Studio” and its famous glass marquetry. There are no flaws in the harmony of colours, and in the way she deals with the material.’ Hélène Rousé-Rivère, Art critic

Glen  Toner

For years Glen Toner worked physically as a plasterer's mate. In 2002, he decided to change his career, and went to Suffolk College to study Fine Art. He graduated in 2005 with a first class degree. You are one of the first who have got a chance to view his work. Glen is interested in painting people, especially the ones that seem unattractive and uninteresting. He uses dark paints thickly in order to give the paintings strength and physicality. His work is intense and carries lots of meaning that can be read from the titles but isn't there more to read from the faces?
