Piotr Kowalczyk’s current series of works naturally fall in to two separate series’ of works. The first series of works are graphic drawings which are based on playing with the viewer’s imagination. “I make up stories puzzled of mysterious elements combined together, which the viewer is to sort out. “ he says, adding, “…your emotions are to lead you to the solution which is always different , depending on who is watching .” The second series of works collectively entitled, ‘Playgrounds’, are an, “…interpretation of situations which are not necessary real. Gosia Kryk

Gosia Kryk trained in Naleczow and Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts. Her oil paintings neither tell stories nor manifest any social or political point of view: when painting she remains silent in a particular way. Working in a more formalist way, she concentrates on technical issues, colour composition and aesthetics of the picture. "I do not paint only for myself, I do not need to..... I would like to wake up sensitivity to beauty in people watching my art."

Ludmila Kufel-Rutowska

These canvasses contain a thick atmosphere that engulfs the viewers as they look on. Beauty is shown in its eerie oddness and the emotions of life are laid bare for all to see. A couple share tea in a room of blue, their ritual one of unity but their body language is one of distance. You can almost feel the silence. In ‘Cut Down’ figures are shown incomplete, their body parts forming a collage of heads and legs all reclining together and dreaming. Her abstracts have an organic quality as cells or seas are shown for their intangible wonder. Through the use of big, bold colours against muted, pastel backgrounds she makes the work jump out from the canvass and create a striking image. Definitely talented, and already popular with collectors here at LondonArt, she is an artist to watch out for in the future

Iwan Kulik

Iwan Kulik's striking works in gouache have a distinctive colour palette and the hard edges and jutting lines evidence an Expressionist aesthetic. This style befits his concern with current political events, as following the dramatic events of the Euromaidan and in reaction to the annexation of Crimea by Russia, he created a new series of works. George Orwell's prophetic writings on power and the state continue still, to find resonance with contemporary artists.

Sandra Laane

Working across media, Sandra Laane shows a variety of images that are always imaginative. Primarily showing works concerned with the female form, her ideas are manifested either in a highly graphic style or in a more tonal approach that conveys a strong sense of mood and atmosphere. Her use of different visual languages enables her to convey ideas of womanhood from the mythological, to outward appearance and as intensely felt from the inside, as a woman artist herself.
