Dimitar Minkov

Dimitar Minkov is a Bulgarian artist specialising in mixed media on canvas. "There has hardly been a higher aspiration in art than the one striving to minimize the form" he says. Inspired by the notion that "less is actually more" Dimitar Minkov's modest works aim to reflect his desire to sensitively reflect his subject. With an inherent harmony of colour, texture and form his work draws us in and generates a feeling of quiet and tranquil reflection. Minkov's work has been exhibited widely and is in private collections across Bulgaria.

Svetlana Mishchenko-Sapsay

Svetlana's paintings are a sight for sore eyes in that they offer a wealth of linear pattern and colour to the viewer. Reminiscent of Klimt and Mucha with their Art Nouveau swirls and symbolist allegory, her art sits at the boundary between figurative and non-figurative. Large stretches of pattern abound, delighting the eye in the same way as today's popular adult colouring books. But the powerful intense faces she depicts are compellingly realistic.

John Mitchell

John Mitchell's paintings are mainly figurative, reflecting his concerns through the relationships between figures in their environment. Chance and intuition are essential to composition and the choice of images from his own drawings and photographs and media sources. This allows barely glimpsed elements to emerge, which in turn may affect the responses of the viewer. He also paints portraits, some of which are commissioned.

Claudio Monnini

Claudio Monnini is a painter, architect and set designer. Born in Milan in 1965 where he presently lives and works, his paintings are both provocative and sexually challenging. Claudio Monnini has works in private collections across Milan.
