Dariusz Romanowski

“One of my chief concerns is attempting to make idea and technique inseparable. Painting in this sense tends towards a complete interlocking of image and paint, so that the image becomes the paint and vice versa” says Dariusz Romanowski. A painters painter, Romanowski believes that the “brushstrokes create the form and not merely fill it in.” His paintings in every detail recreate “…a particular sensation with renewed poignancy in the desire to live through it again with a different kind of intensity.” Romanowski’s own talent coupled with his desire to create work of a higher and timeless quality transports both him and his work into the realms of greatness.

Marco Ronga

Marco Ronga's distinctive approach to the human form comes from his training as an Architect. Marco approaches his figure as 'plastic volumes or as surfaces lying in space';, rather than personalities or spiritual beings in familiar environments. This is not to say that his paintings aren't emotive, on the contrary, the strong sense of a mood or emotion is created by his strong use of colour, in particular his use of blues and yellows. Marco Ronga lives and works in Venice.

Fabio Rota

The figures in Fabio Rota’s paintings often take inspiration from mythical characters and themes. Inherent within all of Rota’s works, is a powerful feeling of intense pain and anguish. This is somewhat created by the positioning and form of the elongated figure, tension of the muscles and tightness of the skin and by the way in which all his figures are encapsulated, often disappearing in to a dead blackness.

Nicola Rowley

Nicola Rowley creates touchingly tender ink drawings and powerfully stark concentrations of relationship in oils. She seems to have an unerring ability to find the 'right' arrangement of bodies in relation to one another and they speak volumes. It is no surprise then that Nicola's work is in many private collections; as to be able to picture the language of the heart in this way is a rare talent.

Lukasz Rudecki

Lukasz Rudecki achieved distinction at the Faculty of Art of Radomian University in Poland from 1999 – 2004 and gained his doctorate in 2009. His oil paintings of the nude stand out in that they are both figurative and abstract, stylish and subtle. Cleverly nuancing the various shades, tones, saturation and hue of only one or two colours at a time, he interprets the body as shadow, solid, silhouette, line and area in one single artwork. At times, the body disappears into cloud or mist of colour and neutral greys seem to erase it where it stands, leaving only a suggestion, outline or memory of a glimpse.

Svetlin  Rusev

In his more intricate works, Svetlin seems to take the geometric patterns of Op-art and gives them an organic makeover, creating a vibrant collision of recurring motifs that swirl and tangle as if given a life of their own. 'Orange Bird' has a simpler composition, though the result is no less exotic.
