Sally McKay

In order to obtain a level of fluidity and elegance of form and movement, Sally Mckay creates all her drawings and wire sculptures directly from life. Fascinated with contemporary dance Sally spends a sustained amount of time at rehearsals, drawing and sketching the performers as they move, closely observing how movement and dance affects their bodies through their expression of narrative. Sally McKay creates both sculpture and painting that reflects a balance of both. In spring 2004 Sally is working closely with the award winning choreographer, Lea Anderson.

Janet C. Moses

Janet Moses is a Malaysian Artist who now lives and works in London. Although Janet works on conventional stretched canvas, she is constantly experimenting with a variety of mediums to create her desired surface texture and form. In this latest series of works her works are invitations to find quiet among noise and bustle, peaceful places on the canvas where the eye and the mind can rest. The layers reflect the dense jungle undergrowth of Malaysia where I was raised; the colours are sunlight and the shadows are the dank and the dark under the forest canopy. Layers take on new forms, writhing and shifting until finding their place on the canvas. When you seek life and colour and movement, you can find it. Seek peace and it is there but you must search for it. She participated in a group show in Espacio Gallery, Shoreditch recently and her latest work is also in exhibition around Cambridge & Southampton.

André  Moulin

Moulin’s abstract paintings utilise colour and form to produce vivacious, energetic acrylic paintings. Focusing on the viewers perception moulin walks a thin line between purely abstract shapes and abstract shapes that resemble the familiar.

Ben Petzold

Petzold’s use of muted earthly colours and quickness of line creates alien and oppressive environments resulting in dark, chaotic urban imagery.

James Preston

James D Preston lives in Derbyshire one of the most beautiful parts of England. James' oil paintings reflect the beauty and serenity of his surrounding countryside. His talent for capturing a specific atmosphere is partly created by his skilful observation and depiction of light and shadow. This not only translates his sentiment as the artist but also allows us, as the viewer to be momentarily transported right in to the heart of the landscape.

Elizabeth  Slick

I think we would all be correct in jumping to the conclusion that Elizabeth Slick lives and works in a HOT climate. We’d be right. Living in Honolulu and spending time in Hawaii and Panama certainly has a striking effect on Elizabeth’s work. Her use of colour, light, and content is as intensely hot as it is intensely magical. Elizabeth Slick has work in private collections and has exhibited throughout the HOT climatic world as well as a growing number of climatically colder countries like England.

Charles  Stuart

Boats are beautiful. Colour and form combine with the sea, sand and the young at heart. Wooden boats decay gracefully on the beach, brilliant colours fading only gradually. Light changes colour as colour changes mood. Light rules, The sun rises, falls, moves across the sky, Time passes, life moves on. Holiday pictures, moments in time, smell the sea, scent the flowers, soak up all this colour, While the sea is away.

Shane Wheatcroft

The main themes I deal with in my work are popular culture, celebrity, the press and politics. I'm particularly interested in the way that popular culture repeatedly presents contradictory messages, and I like to highlight these contradictions and play around with them in my work. I always like to include a humerous element in my work, as personally I've always learnt a lot more about the state of the world through comedy and satire than the mainstream media. Artistically, I'm inspired by art that's bold and full of colour, such as Pop artists of the fifties and sixties, and abstract artists such as Frank Stella.
