Irma Gelantia

Georgian artist Irma Gelantia studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, graduating from the Faculty of Monumental-Decorative Painting in 2004. Her surrealist images draw on symbols of history, power and the unconscious. Her forms imply a sense of fluidity and freedom sometimes contrasting with the themes they represent, suggesting a dreamlike escape from a troublesome reality. Her traditional still life paintings exhibit her training and high level of skill that underpins the surrealist works and an understanding of the art historical remit for this form, to celebrate the material pleasures of her subjects. From this she departs to the ephemeral representations of her more stylized works.

Michelle Gibbs

Michelle Gibbs vibrantly coloured paintings are inspired by her travels all over the world, especially New York, Australia, Fiji, Thailand, Singapore and New Zealand. "From the blues and greens of the great barrier reef in Australia, to the orange and reds of the Fijian sunsets, travelling has brought vibrancy and energy into my work", she says "Through the unique combinations of colour and texture I am able to express my experiences and share them in a contemporary and abstract form. It is my aim to transform a space from a basic and simple room, into one filled with energy, inspiration, dedication and light." Angela Gladwell

Having long since graduated from the Royal College of Art and regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Angela Gladwell has established a highly successful career as a painter. Her work in watercolour and oil on canvas might be described as photorealist in its exact rendition of outward appearances. Her rendering of the sheen of silk and rich fabrics is sumptuous. Yet whilst adhering to describing the seen, she also creates works which imaginatively delight in that process.

Val Gleave

Val Gleave began making art in the early nineties out of an "urgent need to create". Although she enjoys using a variety of mediums and techniques from, photography, computer art and clay modelling, it is her, oil and acrylic paintings which give her the most intense gratification. Fascinated by the changing effects of the landscape, her work explores the effect of light on colour and often reflects the climate when it is at it's most poignant of moments. Currently studying painting at the Hampstead Institute, UK she has recently begun to exhibit her work in London.

Yevgeny  Gorbachev

The results are always interesting when an accomplished landscape painter turns his hand to Surrealism. Gorbachev is clearly a devotee to Salvador Dali and his work also brings to mind the optical illusions of Magritte. Gorbachev is a professional artist, trained in the Ukraine and has shown widely in countries such as Ukraine, Israel, London, Germany and Canada.
