Gosia Kryk

Gosia Kryk trained in Naleczow and Gdansk Academy of Fine Arts. Her oil paintings neither tell stories nor manifest any social or political point of view: when painting she remains silent in a particular way. Working in a more formalist way, she concentrates on technical issues, colour composition and aesthetics of the picture. "I do not paint only for myself, I do not need to..... I would like to wake up sensitivity to beauty in people watching my art."

Piotr Kuc

Piotr Kuc is a Polish born artist. Piotr's technical knowledge combined with an ability to eloquently capture a moment in time has enabled him to launch and sustain a professional career in photography. "I try not to focus on one particular theme or subject, but rather capture the moment as it happens. We live in a world that doesn't rest. Our movements are always precise and deliberate. Photography is way of capturing these movements which would otherwise pass us by". Traditional in a sense, Piotr doesn't believe in digitally manipulating or enhancing his images, what you see is actually what was there - a refreshing concept in a world of digitally fashioned and generated imagery.

Ludmila Kufel-Rutowska

These canvasses contain a thick atmosphere that engulfs the viewers as they look on. Beauty is shown in its eerie oddness and the emotions of life are laid bare for all to see. A couple share tea in a room of blue, their ritual one of unity but their body language is one of distance. You can almost feel the silence. In ‘Cut Down’ figures are shown incomplete, their body parts forming a collage of heads and legs all reclining together and dreaming. Her abstracts have an organic quality as cells or seas are shown for their intangible wonder. Through the use of big, bold colours against muted, pastel backgrounds she makes the work jump out from the canvass and create a striking image. Definitely talented, and already popular with collectors here at LondonArt, she is an artist to watch out for in the future

Dmitry Kustanovich

Dmitry Kustanovich has had over 90 exhibitions in Portugal, Germany, Russia, France and the Netherlands. He has his own gallery in St Petersburg. His work is characterised by a specific attention to the surface of the painting, the picture plane being especially important in the formation of space within the image. Created using a palette knife, he constructs volume, which is multilayered and "polyphonic", in fact he likens his fingers to those of a musician. He calls his sensual yet professional language of strokes "Oil Graphics".

Pasquale Lagatta

Pasquale Lagatta's work is a paradoxical mix of approaches. On the one hand his work are re-creations of superstar icons such as Elvis, Amy Winehouse and Marilyn who have by now become utterly familiar. But on the other, they are conjured up with a difference: be it that their outline is 'drawn' in a thin metal sculpture, or that they feature on a dictionary page which once 'lived' back in 1938. Billed on the site as 'Original and unique' they form an ironic commentary on the fame machine and its inexorable need for new 'editions' or versions and our need to idolise and make special those who excel or fill an emotional need in the public's heart.
