Eric Uhlfelder

Looking at Eric's works, which depict well known tourist destinations, one may get involved in a playful puzzle. Eric uses digital manipulation in his image creation. This may act as an invitation to play a 'spot the difference' game, provided you have a postcard of the landscape. The artist's images are impressionistic in nature and deliberately conceal a detail, however, they still provide good a representation of the place. The use of colour and tones introduce the intended atmosphere, possibly the one that artist experienced himself during his stay at the location.

VINCENT VINCENT

VINCENT VINCENT is an artist, seemingly named after one of the greats and interested in repetition. Irony abounds in the work of this talented draughtsman. Initially favouring pen and ink, he later moved into employing digital techniques, paint and sculpture. His work "Disasters of Raw, Initial Study of Liberty's Escape by Brooklyn Bridge" turns the Stars and Stripes into a wordsearch...an enigma of stereotypical American signs. The Ground Zero hero is portrayed as our only chance of rescuing freedom. here is an artist who is using his skills to explore the serious issues of today using a satirical, tongue-in-cheek language.

Andi Williams

The work of Andrew John Williams is spontaneous action painting and as such might be related to that of Jean Dubuffet and Jackson Pollock in its unfettered direct approach. Making use of oil stick, acrylics and ink he daubs throws and spatters the paint onto the canvas freely. He mainly works on loose canvas, perhaps for a more immediate relationship with the artwork. There is an all-over quality to most of his paintings, "Golden Forest", "Green Planet" and "Tribalism" evoke a unified, sensory overload whose mood is more upbeat and positive. Something for everyone, for every mood.

Yannis Xenidis

Yannis comes from Greece where he lives, but he did have a brief spell experiencing the ups, and downs, of life in London, some of which influences his present work. He works in photography and calls his images 'ads' where visual images get mixed up with words. Unlike advertisement though, his works are trying to communicate ideas and messages, not products. They may be seen as an open book of proverbs with many more to come while the knowledge grows.
