The autumnal scenery and magnificent colours at this time of year inspire artists to truly create some fantastic pieces of artwork, with stunning views and colours to die for, some would argue we are in artists favourite time of year. Autnum gives artists the chance to use so many colours and so much imagination that when looking at work done in the country this time of year we can truly believe we are there.
With More and more people "escaping to the country" to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the exhibition gives you the perception of escaping there in your own mind, to admire some the beautiful views the countryside offers as shown by Andrew Fitchett, in whose work you can envisage being there looking over at the views. Desmond O'Reilly uses more abstract colours to show the flamboyant, atmospheric country that Scotland offers, and Diane Griffiths demonstrates how magnificent the sunset in the countryside can be with her lovely photo print of the Kent sunrise.
