"Who loves a garden, still his Eden keeps, Perennial pleasures plants, and wholesome harvests reaps" Amos Bronson Alcott.
Imagine Eden...what would yours look like? Shimmering hues, cascading canopies of leaves and myriad hues of green perhaps... Wandering through the many worlds of imagination portrayed on Londonart, I stumbled across Shahin Zuberi's "Lily Pond" and felt the immediacy of being alone in nature. Carolyn Quan's "Chrysalis" and "Dragonfly Dream" carried me further, like Thumbelina into that mindset of physical oneness with creation. Delving deeper into Peter Heuscher's exotic, erotic blooms I heard the birds of Adriana Eyzaguirre, calling out in tropical colour until I eventually emerged, blinking in Wilkes' bright traceried light, where branches bend into silhouetted kisses.
