Martin Wall born in Liverpool. He has worked with various different media. Moved to the Norfolk coast with his work on and offshore in the Oil and Gas industry. Currently working in Acrylic on canvas he also uses digital photography and digital image making alongside painting. Martin recently came 4th in The London Photographic association Still life competition. He gains much of his inspiration from the contrasting elements of his life, the harsh heavy oil and gas industry and the beautiful Norfolk coastal landscape and natural environment. He also enjoys portraiture animal or human. In 2005/06 he went to Paston College Britainís oldest School to study fine art, at the end of the course he achieved maximum marks the highest in the UK for the A2 qualification. Martin came to London Art on Christian Furrís recommendation. He works from his own self-built log cabin studio in Norfolk. His work is self-inspired or from commission and has paintings in private collections, the directorís area in the Shell Europe headquarters and in the Shell Onegas headquarters in the Netherlands. His lifeís ambition is to become a prolific and successful artist.
MARTIN IS A FEATURED ARTIST IN SEPT ISSUE OF ART OF ENGLAND AND ARTIST OF THE MONTH IN THE EDP NORFOLK MAGAZINE OCTOBER ISSUE. Currently has the painting Stream seven on display at the Norwich Castle Open Art Show.
