Paul Craven's first photographic assignments were for a regional news agency in Surrey in the late 70s supplying pictures and copy for the Fleet Street papers - from the Daily Mail to The News of the World.
A few years later, he began specialising in sports photography and, in particular, tennis coverage for World Tennis (USA) and Tennis Today (UK). His work has also featured in advertismemnts, brochures and calendars.
Alongside his photographic commissions, his passion for capturing real, unposed life kept him walking the streets, documenting ordinary people in everyday situations.
Today he combines a career as a copywriter in an advertising and design agency with continued photographic forays into everyday life.
This selection of photographs is the first time that any of his reportage work has been released for sale.
