| Drawing inspiration from the master draughtsman, Albrecht Durer, Lothar Zhou finds great fascination with the landscape of war. Refusing to use historical photographs as direct reference to his work, Lothar spends a vast amount of time researching each and every aspect of a particular scene, preferring instead to use his knowledge and imagination to build the composition and all its details.
