Val Flack

A riot of colours clash and collide, creating a soulful impression on the viewer. Val Flack makes work that breathes with life and dances with a bright rhythm across the canvass. In some paintings she uses pale blues and pinks to make her work is soothing and calming, whereas in other works deep reds punctuate the colour scheme, giving heat and verve. A vivid sense of composition means that Flack is able to create paintings that come alive and are full of interesting details. Black or blue geometric shapes sit on top of flowing abstract backgrounds, providing a depth to this art that is hard to ignore. An appreciation of music provides wonderful inspiration as Val Flack endeavours to give her images a sense of cadence. Having exhibited widely across Europe and in the United States over the last twenty years, Flack is now a member of the LondonArt community.

Kevin Fleming

With thickly handled oil paint, Fleming creates works that contain enough contrasts and texture to keep a viewer coming back for more. By applying the paint so heavily the artist is able to create stylish and affecting works that resonate with energy and life. The colours he uses are bold and wonderful, giving the paintings an affirming warmth and leave the viewer with a lasting glow. His beaches are decorated with tumbling leaves and an array of tiny rocks. The yoke-yellow sand stretches down invitingly to an ocean comprised of a variety of azures. Harbour villages nestle into the cliff face as kite surfers enjoy the day and look forward to the spectacle of sunset. This is feel good art for people who want a slice of the summer sun to hang on their walls. Very competitively priced, this art would make an ideal gift for anyone who appreciates colour, composition and light in their art.

Salvador Flores

Salvador Flores is a Mexican architect who studied art with Leiton, one of the most influential artists in the North Mexico. His style is inspired by geometric abstraction, Surrealism, and Minimalism. Kandinsky, Hans Arp, Paul Klee, and Latin American Surrealists have all impacted Salvador's art. As a lover of the Surrealists, Flores images are like a journey through the intangible world. The artists' motivations come from the unknown, or rather from the imperceptible: the relation of heaven and earth; good and evil; spirit and soul. As far as Salvador's style is concerned, the artist described his own technique as 'controlled experimentation' which involves the search for balance between colour and texture.

Victoria Folgate (Hedlund)

Victoria Folgate is intrigued by order, control and the residing chaos of the biological, human self to react to stimuli instantaneously to create a response that can be of measured or limitless impact. As a physicist by training her collections show her innate desire for structure, explanation and predictability and the frustration that endures when it is not achieved.

James Forrest

A graduate of Chelsea School of Art, James Forrest says, "The statement behind the art is purely to create a thing of beauty". This straightforward approach is deceptively simple, for what is Beauty? We know it is in the eye of the beholder and yet art history is rife with theoreticians who would define this for us. His accomplished abstracts have an immediate, sensory hit whilst indexing a wealth of painting styles. Forrest knowingly plays with space and our preconceptions of pictorial narratives. See if you can spot the Nike "tick" !

Eleanor Frances

Eleanor Frances is a self-taught English artist presently living and working in London. Time spent in India and Asia in her early twenties proved to be a hugely influential time for Frances. “India unlocked the need to be free from old teachings and embrace a deeper insight into who we are and why we are.” She says. “My paintings are expressive pieces often reflecting the darker side to urban living; the extremes of emotion, detailed and precise, in total control of my brush, no strokes are left to chance.” This latest collection of works were inspired by a recent period of time spent living in Barcelona and Paris. Clearly iinfluenced by strong vibrant colour, she is currently working on a collection of abstracted works which focus on colour, shape and texture.
