Sophy Bristol

Bristol's natural ability to manipulate colour and form combined with her sensitive approach to translating human emotion on to a two-dimensional picture plane, results in some enthralling and optimistic figurative paintings of animated human activity. Christian Gyogi-Mann

The complex and intense process by which Christian Mann generates his canvases, raises an equally commanding and involving response from the viewer. Describing himself as, "a palimpsest in motion", Christian Mann's multi faceted canvases record events, observation, opinion and emotion, and pack a vivacious beat of figures and their elements in progressive conversation. Having only recently found the gumption to exhibit his work unaccompanied, Christian Mann's sensational, first solo exhibition in London took place in 2006. With a second exhibition and subsequent group shows already scheduled for 2007 we have no doubt that Christian will continue to be one of Londonart's most popular and celebrated artists.

Andy Insh

Attracted to both the beauty and the sadness of an inner city landscape, Andy Insh's paintings present us with an internal view of the city. The powerfully charged atmosphere of South London, usually so crowded with urban life and inner city turmoil is replaced with a sense of beauty, aloneness, silence, and solitude. It is here within the vacant depiction of empty spaces and silent streets that the power of his Andy Insh's paintings really lays. Insh was born in 1956 and from 1984 to 1988 studied at the Camberwell College of Art and subsequently Middlesex polytechnic, where he completed his Art Foundation and BA in Visual Arts. At the age of fifty Insh has already exhibited his work in over forty exhibitions in galleries across London, the UK and in Berlin where he has work in private collections.

Ian McCaughrean

Ian McCaughrean's seductive paintings depict a world of abundant colour, consumer goods and social freedom. The pictorial component as depicted by the central figurative picture, juxtaposed and surrounded by pure geometric abstract structure, highlights and explores the very nature of the aesthetic, ideal and associated theory. With these paintings the artist continues to explore the tension between pure abstraction and pictorial representation. Ian McCaughrean was born in Plymouth, England, in 1963 and now lives and works in South London. After studying a degree in Graphic Design at Maidstone College of Art he then went on to study an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art. Ian McCaughrean RCA has been painting for over twenty five years and has taken part in many group and solo exhibitions. Charles  Stuart

Boats are beautiful. Colour and form combine with the sea, sand and the young at heart. Wooden boats decay gracefully on the beach, brilliant colours fading only gradually. Light changes colour as colour changes mood. Light rules, The sun rises, falls, moves across the sky, Time passes, life moves on. Holiday pictures, moments in time, smell the sea, scent the flowers, soak up all this colour, While the sea is away.
